After the success of our Peace in Action Culture Team from 2017, we've decided to launch a Youth Arts Company! The Youth Arts Company will train young artists to use their creative gifts to spark social change and bring the voice of youth to the center of the local movement for justice. In addition the artist development they will undergo, as part of their training, these young artist activists will participate in political education workshops that strengthen their understanding of the current political climate, the groundbreaking work that our movement ancestors have put in for generations over time and the systemic injustices that have perpetuated the oppression of low-income communities of color.
