Are you a young and growing artist?
Do you have a passion for making a positive impact on your community?
Are you interested in becoming an advocate against violence?
Would like to grow as an artist and activist?
The Youth Arts Company will train young artists to use their creative gifts to spark social change and bring the voice of youth and their community to the center of their projects. These young artist activists will participate in healing circles, poetry workshops and political/popular education workshops that strengthen their understanding of the 10 Dimensions of Wellness. The Youth Arts Company members will be tasked with collectively producing a community based art project and showcase their work throughout the year, and especially during our 2025 Multicultural Art & Wellness Jamboree.
