BOOT CAMP TOUR
Because youth deserve to hear both sides!

In the summer of 2008, BAY-Peace offered an all-expenses-paid trip, from the Bay Area to San Diego, for youth who were interested in joining the military, as well as for youth who wanted to learn more to help them educate their peers about the realities of enlistment.

The “Boot Camp Tour” included visits to military bases, veterans groups, and families affected by the war, as well as information about job training and financial aid that’s available without the military. Below is a report of what we did on the tour.
